1. Where to park?
Because parking around the Capitol is limited, we encourage participants to carpool or use Marta. There are some paid parking garages in the vicinity of the Capitol, including underground Atlanta. Buses should drop passengers off at the Capitol and then park the bus at Turner Field (off of Hank Aaron Drive). Click here for printable map of the area!
2. Can I take MARTA?
The Georgia State Station on the East/West line is one block from the Capitol. The fare is $1.75 each way. Visit the MARTA website for more information.
3. Should I bring children?
Children are welcome to this event! Consider bringing a stroller, warm clothes, and a snack for your young ones. Youth and school groups are also encouraged to attend. Many schools bring their students by the busload, so the students can see how democracy works. They can also see Mom and Dad stand up for what is right!
4. What about signs?
YES! Especially those signs which identify your area of the state. Because children will be present, please do not bring graphic pictures and slogans. All banners and posters must be handheld. Poles and stakes of any kind are not allowed.
5. Where do busses park?
Buses may be parked on Central Ave: Turn right off MLK (right and left lanes accomodate buses for special events). Please do not block any parking garage entrances for Underground Atlanta.
6. Will a collection be taken?
There will be volunteers milling through the crowd with blue donation buckets, if you would like to support the effort.

There will be no cancellation due to weather.
10. How many people are you expecting?
In the past we've had 3,000 - 5,000 people attend, but we're expecting this to be our biggest TFL ever!
How do I get to the Capitol?
From the South: Take I-85/75 North to Exit #246 (Central Avenue/Fulton Street). Bear right on exit to Fulton; then turn left onto Capitol Avenue. The Capitol will be on the left.
From the North: Take I-85/75 South to Exit #248A (Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive). Bear right onto MLK Drive. At the third light make a left onto Washington Street. The Capitol will be on your left.
From the East: Take I-20 West to Exit #58A (Capitol Avenue). Turn right onto Capitol Avenue. The Capitol is approximately one mile on the left.
From the West: Take I-20 East to Exit #56B (Windsor Street/ Spring Street/ Stadium). At the third light, turn left onto Central Avenue. Go to Mitchell Street and turn right. Go one block and the capitol will be on the left.
